Fine Point Broadcast Ltd specializes in the dry hire of broadcast television equipment. Established in 1979, the first equipment in our rate card was Sony tube cameras and portable U-Matic recorders. We have evolved a long way from then and we now have a vast stock of equipment to rent, everything from High Definition camera channels and Canon XJ86x Stabilised zoom lenses to monitors and lip mics. In fact we are well known in the business for stocking the more unusual ancillary equipment such as waveform monitors or D to A converters, as well as the every day items such as Sony Camcorders and HDCAM VTR's.

Hire Rates:
One day – at daily rate
Weekly – at 4x daily rate
One month or longer – please contact us for a custom rate.

All rates are in UK Pounds Sterling, excluding VAT and supersede all previously published rates.

Deliveries after 5pm and before 9am Monday to Friday are subject to a £40 delivery charge to the London area. A £70 minimum hire charge applies to all orders. Outside of office hours (ie weekends, bank holidays) a £80 call out charge applies.

Quotation validity is 30 days, subject to prior orders received and our standard terms of hire, E & OE.

Provisional bookings:
Provisional "pencilled" bookings are accepted. A formal hire order is subsequently required to confirm a provisional booking. We will endeavour to verify your order intent before re-allocating the equipment to another project. All bookings are subject to our standard terms of hire. For details please see page 37.

Insurance:
It is the Hirer's responsibility under FinePoint's terms of hire to ensure all equipment hired has comprehensive all risks insurance cover. Equipment hired must be covered to new replacement value plus loss of income and all associated costs for the entire hire terms and territorial limits for intended operation. All new Hire Application clients must forward a copy of their insurance documentation to Accounts before a hire commences.

Payment:
Account terms as agreed. Non-account clients must ensure cleared payment (regardless of method) is received by FinePoint prior to the hire period commencing.

Collection one way – £25
London – during office hours – plus congestion if applicable – £35
All other areas are subject to quotation.

Equipment cases:
All equipment is supplied in custom made aluminium flight cases. Cased equipment weights and dimensions are included in this rate card.

Equipment Service Support:
If a fault develops, we will at our discretion, endeavour to promptly repair or replace the item. Replacement equipment will be despatched to the initial delivery site.

Equipment returned incomplete or without accessories supplied:
FinePoint will notify the hirer of any incomplete equipment or missing item(s), giving the hirer two calendar weeks to locate and return. Should the item(s) not be received within this time an invoice will be raised for new replacement cost.
